Artist Biography
Drive On Mak hails from San Marcos, Texas and are the area's premier rock band. This power trio, lead by guitarist and singer/songwriter Sean Makra, along with Jason Bilderback on bass and Scott Feigh on drums, combine a mixture of neo-blues rock philosophy, punk ideals & traditional rock aesthetics creating a contemporary sound that is wholly unique to the band. Makra, a former army veteran from the Iraq war delves into his personal and often darkly poignant experiences from his time there to inform the music, giving Drive On Mak not only it's sound & edge, but more importantly, it's message: music is the weapon that destroys hate and causes change and healing.
Drive On Mak has not only played hundreds of shows in their hometown and surrounding areas, they have also recently completed a three state west coast summer 2016 tour including WA, OR and CA with plans for a fall tour in Texas also slated for the same year. DOM have also self released two albums, 'Weapon' & 'Babylon' and are releasing two singles from each album, all of which will soon be available across such music streaming platforms as Spotify and Itunes, as well as many others. DOM has recently begun partnering with independent and college radio stations all over the world in an effort to reach as wide an audience as possible to spread DOM's music and message.

Drive On Mak is a neo-blues/rock/punkabilly power trio hailing from San Marcos, Texas. Their unique sound, combining somber tones mixed with strident choruses, is propelling Drive On Mak to become one of the premier rock and roll acts in the Austin/San Marcos region.
Fronted by lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Sean Makra (a former soldier and 3 time Iraq veteran), along with his powerful rhythm section consisting of drummer Scott Feigh and bassist Jason Bilderback, Drive On Mak delves into the concepts of revolution and war, with epic depictions of combat influenced by Sean's wartime experience. Drive On Mak addresses subjects such as post-war PTSD, explorations on spirituality, and themes of love and loss, doing so in a way that is thought provoking and subtle, yet unabashedly angry and powerful, forcing the listener to confront these realities of life that are often buried by society.
While Drive On Mak continues to hone their craft in the Central Texas music scene, the revolutionary themes of their music, combined with their tight and precise musical style, make them primed to explode onto the national stage and beyond.
