Artist Biography

Born In Glasgow Scotland migrating to Australia with his parents at an early age , his journey in music began playing side drums in a pipe band.

Markus Meo is an independent Singer songwriter producer from Adelaide South Australia.
He was introduced and influenced by many different artists such as Neil Diamond , Cat Stevens , James Taylor Roy Orbison , Van Morrison , The Eagles , Phil Collins , Fleet Wood Mac and many more while assisting his father who was a radio announcer at a community radio station.

A Self taught Guitarist he started incorporating his own sense of rythm into his creative guitar playing , giving him the ability to improvise and express his own unique style of playing and developing a soulful contemporary style songwriting.

In 2015 Markus Meo  was accepted into AMRAP  the unsigned inititive to gain national community radio airplay in Australia.

His passion for performing and writing has always been about touching peoples hearts through music.
