It is a commonly held belief that leaders are born, not made. If this is true, then JES’ position in the world of music can only be described as her birthright.
In a world where few have the vision, creativity and will power to carve their own distinct niche JES has excelled in exactly that. One voice and vision that has forged a career path that is often imitated, but rarely equaled. JES’ extraordinary voice and passionate songwriting has won her the respect and adoration of both the music fans and industry across the globe, releasing songs with the very cream of the international crop.
This chart topping, Grammy nominated and award winning New Yorker has packed four solo albums, two Billboard #1 singles, international touring and countless superstar DJ collaborations as a solo artist. Since her legendary release “As The Rush Comes” with Motorcycle redefined the landscape of EDM, JES has propelled an unending stream of solo hit songs and collaborations with a who’s who of the worlds most prominent DJ’s including TIesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Kaskade, BT, Richard Durand, Cosmic Gate and Roger Shah. JES has collected awards from the prestigious International Dance Music Awards at Miami’s WMC, The ISC (International Songwriting Competition ‘08’ 09 and ‘10) and topped Billboard’s “Most Played Dance Songs of the Decade” chart (2000-2010). Her tours have touched the shores of 6 continents with landmark shows at international events such as the Beijing Summer Olympics.
Always seeking out a new path, JES added DJ’ing to her legendary performances and launched a hit weekly mix show and a comp album franchise to support it. “Unleash The Beat” has enjoyed runaway success syndicating worldwide on over 70 stations. Dj’ing has also become a central part of JES’ live show where she mixes while she sings, once again leading a new revolution in EDM performance culture.

JES Releases Stunning Single, "Sky Stand Still" from 'The Principle' Documentary
JES has launched her epic single, "Sky Stand Still" from the much talked about film,The Principle, which debuted to sold out shows in Chicago over the weekend.
The Principle brings to light astonishing results from recent large-scale surveys of our universe-surveys that disclose unexpected evidence of a preferred direction in the cosmos, aligned with our supposedly insignificant Earth! The Principle leads us face-to-face with this most important question: What does this mean for the future of mankind?
The Principle features narration by Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager, Orange is the New Black, Ryan's Hope), stunning animations by BUF Compagnie Paris (Life of Pi, Thor, The Matrix: Revolutions, Van Helsing, Harry Potter), and commentary and insights from likes ofMichio Kaku, John Hartnett, Bernard Carr, Robert Sungenis, Max Tegmark, Robert Bennett and more.
"My main goal for a song is always finding that emotional connection with the audience. I wanted the words to mean something universally and make the melody beautiful so it touches the listener and leaves them feeling something. When writing for a musical theme you have that chance to sum it all up. Music is such an important component to film and I am excited because I think it is a powerful uplifting song that will connect with people and be able to reach a global audience," says JES.
Rick Delano- Producer/Writer of The Principle says of JES and "Sky Stand Still": Hero (my Son and Co-Writer of "Sky Stand Still")and I were on one of our occasional songwriting road trips up Pacific Coast Highway in 2010 when he played me the demo for "Sky Stand Still." It was simply instantaneous- the chorus didn't even come around twice before I knew this was the Theme Song For The Principle. But it wasn't until three years later, when the simply amazing JES brought us the soul- shaking line "you will always be remembered..." that I knew it had finally been brought completely through the storm and safely delivered as the final moment of The Principle.
