Aaron Vaughn Barrera is an accomplished musician who's vocal and songwriting skills are superseded only by his guitar playing abilities. With an impressive resume, he has toured extensively in the US and has shared the stage with many well established artists. Aaron has opened for major acts such as The Roots, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Deftones and Rufus Wainwright to name a few. Texas powerhouse singer/guitarist Aaron Vaughn Barrera will bring his soulful voice and exceptional guitar playing to Rockwood Music Hall on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 11:00pm. He is performing in support of his new single “Western Moon,” to be released for exclusive download on itunes August 31st. Aaron has spent the last 3 years honing his songwriting and guitar-playing skills in preparation for the launch of his new solo career.
Given his experience on stage, there’s no doubt Aaron will give an unforgettable performance. Touring the US as a sideman with major label recording artists such as Abra Moore (Arista Records) and Dan Dyer (Warner Music Group) he has earned the respect of other artists and gained much notoriety. Aaron has shared the stage with some heavy hitters such as Lenny Kravitz, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Rufus Wainwright, and The Goo Goo Dolls to name a few.
