Hailing from Seattle, WA & Portland, OR, Aaron Mazarati (born Aaron Maza) is the latest addition to the ranks of talented modern hip hop artists. Influenced by many musical aspects, you get a Pop/Rock/Electronic/Rap vibe in a condensed lyrical approach.
At the young age of 14, his dear grandmother was suddenly murdered, to cope he took on an interest in poetic expression as his therapy. Poetry ultimately lead to his passion in professional creative writing and he achieved a degree in Journalism/Copywriting at the University of Oregon. It was in college where he discovered all his writing material could be converted to song prose; since as a youngster he sang for his church choir, school band, (trumpet, trombone, percussion, guitar) this came without struggle. His discovery in his hidden talent has lead to an EP, three mixtapes, videos, and numerous collaborations with producers, engineers, and artists from all over the United States.
No stranger to the lime light, Aaron Mazarati has performed at some of LA’s most legendary venues; such as Whisky A Go-GO and The Roxy. Gained residency at O’Brien’s in Santa Monica, CA, performing has become second nature for this artist.
A few months ago, signed on placement in a NBC/Universal film “Kissing Strangers” with his song “Never Done This Before”, which is due to be released soon.
To say this young man is “ready” would be an understatement. This is artist is determined in being the hardest working artist of 2013, to the day he dies. There is no such thing as 15 minutes of fame for an artist like Aaron Mazarati.
