John Davy, Americanahomeplace.com "Criminally unsigned..."- UK Music shopper "Another favorite takes her place on my shelf...I played it again and again-cuz I wanted to.." GoGirlsMusic.com "Sue Quigley has a magnificent voice. Her warm, full-bodied alto is reminiscent of early Melissa Etheridge, Susan Tedeshi and Bonnie Raitt and, like those artists, she's also an accomplished guitar player...the soul-glimpsing lyrics make her music all the more accessible." Kristin Hubbard, Vigilance Music~~~~~ "....Sue's music will leave you tapping your foot and singing the choruses for days... showcases Quigley's voice and poignant lyrics"- Jesse Flores, Seattle Sound Magazine~~~~~~

Biography:

Raised in the nuclear plains of Eastern Washington, Sue stole her sister's guitar (abandoned for boys) and started writing songs at 13. Later it became a good way to pass the time between fires while working for the Forest Service one summer. In the last few years, Sue decided to quit stalling and get a band and record some music. The 2nd cd "Perfect Chaos" was co-produced by Jon ERvie (Brandi Carlile,PUSA,) and will be released in Jan/09. Sue has been featured at the Bitter End,NYC,Rockrgrl Conference,Bite of Seattle,Pridefest,Fremont Fest, and completed her first west coast tour this past summer. As a kickoff to the tour, Sue was asked to perform acoustically at center court as the half-time show at the Seattle Storm game at Key Arena. Sue has plans to tour this spring to promote the new cd and hopes to raise a pint in the UK while doing so.
