MTV EMA Nominee Oliver Sean is the breakthrough Indie singer songwriter, whose Vh1 Top 10 Album Rolling Stone Magazine called “its like the Eagles have hired Jack Johnson for some lessons on lightening up”. With the release of his brand single and video 'New york' the singer songwriter is hitting new heights. The music video is now on Vh1, 9XO and RTP International worldwide. Oliver's brand new single 'First Move' is currently making the rounds now on radio worldwide. These are the 2 new singles from the singers upcoming 'Devil in Blue Jeans' album.
MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee (Best Worldwide Act) & Vh1 Top 10 artist Oliver Sean's music can best be described as 'Feel Good Acoustic Rock with Soul'. The Singer/Songwriter thrived in the Goa, Dubai and the UK cultures as they acted as the backdrop to his youth, and the inspiration for his music. His discography with W.O.A. Entertainment began in 1999 with his single ‘There She Is Again’.
Oliver Sean's media clippings have formed a career of their own. Since his career was launched in his teens, Oliver's press clippings exceed several hundred features, snippets, and reviews in significant print and broadcast mediums. Oliver Sean's eclectic global music style is the trademark for his brand, and is as exotic as his Portuguese Goan Lineage. A self-taught musician, Oliver plays guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. Oliver Sean is a member of the Recording Academy and a Voting Member for the prestigious Grammy Awards.
As a Record Producer and Filmmaker Oliver Sean has composed music for the French Government (Massif Region Tourism Campaign) & Goa Government (Republic Day Parade). He has also composed the soundtrack as a music director for a Bollywood Feature Film and recently composed and sang the title track for another commercial movie releasing in 2017 . The singer songwriter is actively producing and composing music for artists around the world and is a successful filmmaker with several music videos that he has Directed and Produced, regularly featured on Vh1 & MTV. Vh1 Top 10 Artist Oliver Sean gives fans first listen to his new single 'First Move' on the WOAFM99 Radio Show, hosted by the artist himself and across various radio shows and podcasts worldwide all this month, ahead of the official launch.
Leicester United Kingdom - 24th Jan 2017 - His last single and music video 'New York' was released worldwide last October with an exclusive music video on Vh1 International and various other channels, achieving an unprecedented 150,000 downloads in less than a week. MTV EMA Nominee Oliver Sean now announces the launch of another single titled 'First Move' exclusively to radio and broadcast media before the official iTunes release date of the single.
