Hello Folks

 

It is with great pleasure, that I submit this short bio.  To introduce myself.

I have been singing and performing gospel music for many, many years.  I’ve been blessed to perform with some of the greatest names in the music industry.  I’ve written about 250 songs and have published (2 CD’s) of the songs I’ve written.  I had (3) #1 songs in 2015.

 

I reside in Ooltewah, TN and get to do a lot of traveling, performing on the weekends.  I’m married to a very supportive wife who prays for me while I’m away doing what God has called me to do and using my talents for His Glory.

 

I‘ve had the pleasure of performing on such stages as the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN.,   the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge TN.  The Regional stage at the NQC in Louisville, KY.   I’ve also played on the stage at Six Flags over Georgia.  I’ve been invited to play in Branson, MO.  for the last 7 years.  I travel to Oklahoma City, OK., N.C., GA, S.C., MS. and Alabama  just to name a few.  I have a saying that says; “You Need Gospel Music, I Will Travel”.  The Lord has truly blessed.

I was truly honored to receive an Award from Little Jimmy Dickens at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN. Little Jimmy presented to me the “Little Jimmy Dickens Lifetime Achievement / Living Legend Award” at the Country Music Hall of Fame 2012.   What an honor that was for a country star presenting an award to a gospel artist? wow!
