Artist Biography

Florida born and Carolina raised, Rikki Dee Hall has rocked audiences from the east coast to the west. From an early age he has shared the stage with such musical legends as: The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, Humble Pie, Marshall Tucker, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and ZZ Top to name but a few.

Hall cites Lonnie Mack, Cub Koda, Albert King, Kim Simmons and Eric Clapton as major influences on guitar. In the same breath he names John Fogerty, Bob Seger, and Steve Marriott as his main influences as a songwriter and singer.
Bones Malone shares the guitar duties with Hall and is from parts unknown. Malone has been playing music since 1969 and lists his influences as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh and Lowel George. His soulful slide guitar is featured on many of the songs that The VooDoo Hawks play.

Holding the bottom down is bassist Chris DeMott, formerly of Bud Grover Railroad. Chris hails from San Diego, California and over the years has opened for such artists as The Nixons and Kansas. With his influences ranging from Paul McCartney to Les Claypool, Chris brings a hard-edged feel to the band’s blues rock sound.
