Artist Biography

Audio Moonshine is a Northwest Rock and Roll band blending eclectic melodies and many influences to their brew.  The band released their debut album "Let.s Be..." in 2008, and just released their second album "The Speakeasy Sessions."  Over the last 6 years the band has played countless gigs all over the Northwest and strives for a larger audience.  Audio Moonshine is hard to categorize as genre and is multi-demographic.  Their songs relate to many on different levels.  In the end they love performing live and making the most of every show.

Audio Moonshine is music for driving with the windows down on the first (or last) warm day of the year.  Or for listening to with a beer in one hand and a pool cue in the other.  It's a girl with blue hair and combat boots two stepping with a guy in a white cowboy hat and a well-worn pair of Wranglers in some random Austin dive bar.  It's super-literate country rock- the musical equivalent of a guy who carries heavy stuff around all day and then kicks back and watches John Stewart before bed because sure, he went to college, but who wants to ride a desk all day?  It has the earnestness of vintage John Cougar, the heel-kicking swing of Reckless Kelly, the sass of Charlie Daniels, and just a touch of George Thorogood crunch.  If you are the kind of person who believes the world is a sadder place because there isn't more Coldplay in it, don't bother.  This isn't for you.  It's for those of us who know the value of a neon beer sign in the window on one of those Thursday nights when the only way to shake off a long week is knock back a shot of tequilla and grab a cold one with a couple friends.
