Scanner is old school, first wave punk rock, formed in Pennsylvania in 1979, and is heavily influenced by Dead Boys, Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Plasmatics, Stiff Little Fingers, and the Clash.

Artist Biography Scanner is Joe Brady (Bass & Vocals), Junnie (Guitar & Vocals), and Troy Alwine (Drums & Vocals). Scanner is a punk rock band that was formed in Central PA in early 1979 by Joseph and Junnie after playing with various lineups during 1977-78. Reuniting after 30+ years in 2012, Joe and Junnie were joined by Troy on drums, and headed to the studio to finally record Scanner tunes properly.
