My name is Andrew McCall, I'm a 21year old pianist from NSW, The style of minimalistic piano that I play is very emotional and atmospheric. I love it because you can really lose yourself in the music and you go on a new journey everytime you hear it.

 

Biography:

I started playing piano when I was 9 years old after being introduced to the instrument by my grandfather. The instrument was taught to me by an array of different teachers but after 2 years of lessons, I decided to learn on my own… maybe it was because whenever my teacher would give me music to practise, I would quickly get bored and make up my own music. Playing many different styles of piano while I was learning, I eventually was shown pieces of music under the genre of minimalistic piano, and that’s when I fell in love with what now is my dominant style. It wasn’t until the age of 15 that I started to properly compose and record my own music, and I’ve been composing, recording and playing shows ever since.
